Friday Free Stuff: Open Fonts

Open Font Library currently has over 90 fonts. These are mostly licensed with the Open Font License which means you can freely download, use, modify, and share the fonts.

A feature that all by itself makes the website worth visiting is that on each font's page (eg Pfennig) you can type in the header space to see a sample of how the font will look.

FontSpace also has some open-licensed fonts (but check the licenses for each font as some may require donations) and Google Web Fonts has a directory of open-source fonts optimised for the web (along with an API service to add the fonts to your website).

Friday Free Stuff will take a break next week for Show Day, and return on the 18th November.
