Library PIN Help

To make renewals, requests or to view your borrower record (My Library Account) you will need to login on the Library catalogue.

1) If you have a UC username and password (eg abc123)

  • Use these to login to My Library Account

2) If you do not have a UC username and password

  • If you have a UC card but do not have a UC username and password
Your initial login and password will both be your barcode
    (eg CU-----D).
  • Subscription members and reciprocal borrowers (ULANZ, CTA)
Your initial password will be the last 4 digits of your telephone number followed by your first and last initial.

Changing your password (PIN)

Note:this only applies if you do not have a UC username and password. If you do have a UC username, change your password, via your IT account.

The Library recommends that you change your password (called PIN in My Library Account) as soon as you can. Login then select the Profile link on the top navigation bar. One of the options is to change your PIN. Your Library PIN should be different to the PIN used for your bank accounts, or for other important functions. Your new PIN can be any combination of characters and up to 7 digits in length.

Problems and exceptions

If you are having problems logging in, please go to the Information Desk in your preferred Library to have your PIN reset. Staff will not be able to tell you your existing pin number but will reset the PIN to a number you can identify and then change.
