Specialised Catalogue Searching
Advanced Search
The Advanced Search option is available from the menu at the top of the catalogue screen.
Use it to:
- Combine keyword searches across indexes, using the boolean operators OR, AND, NOT, or XOR (exclusive "or", meaning one term or the other only). These are in upper case
- Choose exact match for your keywords, or matching within a certain number of words
- Limit searches by Location, Language or Other Limits such as document type or medium
- Sort your results by date, author, title or format
