Central Library - Te Puna Mātauraka o Waitaha
Central Library, in the James Hight Building, central campus, provides services and collections to support Humanities, Social, Biological & Geological Sciences, Music/Fine Arts & Antarctic studies.
Education Library - Te Puna Ako
Education Library, on the University of Canterbury Ilam West site in Dovedale Avenue, provides services and collections to support education and sports coaching. It also holds children's books and audiovisual materials to support learning in the classroom.

EPS Library - Kā Puna Pūkahataka me te Pūtaiao, on the north side of campus adjacent to Creyke Road, provides services and collections to support all aspects of engineering, forestry and physical sciences.
Law Library - Te Puna Ture
Law Library, on levels two and three of the Law School building, provides services and collections to support teaching and research in law, business and economics, and all studies relating to official publications. It also acts as the Library's European Union Information Centre (EUi), and contains a small but popular detective fiction collection.
Macmillan Brown Library - Te Puna Rakahau o Macmillan Brown
Macmillan Brown Library, in Te Ao Mārama: the Māori and Pacific Studies Building, on Arts Road, is a research collection of New Zealand and Pacific Islands materials, including photographs, archives and manuscripts. It also holds materials on Maori language, history and culture.
