Printing from Library Computers

Each of the libraries on campus provide printers onto which you can print your results from electronic resources.  You need to use your Canterbury Card to pay for the printing, which costs 7c per page.

Printing in the Library is a three step process:

  1. Search results ready for printing
  2. Send your print job to the Printstation
  3. Go to the Printstation to collect your print job

If you are using InfoTrac, or any other web-based database such as ProQuest, you may need to reformat articles or search results for printing (consult the online help for the particular database you are using, or ask Library staff for help).

You will find laminated instructions near the Library computers which instruct you how to give your print job a name and password (the latter is optional) so that you can retrieve your job at the printstations. Swipe your Canterbury Card in the card reader at the Printstations, and enter in the name of the print job to retrieve your printout(s).
