Search the Web
Google dominates the field of Web search engines but repeating the same search on different search engines can still give you unique results. Google Scholar now has direct links into Library resources and Google Books can search the contents of books and link you to the Table of Contents. Compare your results with Yahoo.
Search Engines are a wonderful resource but don't neglect the full text academic databases the Library pays for you to use. Check them out on the Databases page or find your subject specific database options on the relevant subject guide.
